I've loved waffle knits since stealing them from the boyfriend. This Zara one is huge and perfect for lounging around in. Bonus they refunded me when the sleeves shrank after one wash! Thanks Zara!

DIY lace shorts

I had been eyeing the lace shorts from free people for while (along w/ this marble pink sweater I'm wearing. I thought they would be super easy to make with a bit of lace, some silky shorts, and stitch witchery, I had myself a pair of nude pink lace shorts. The hardest part was pining it all together but just a bit of patience did the trick...and so totally worth it!
The marble pink sweater just reminds me of strawberry haagen dazs with swirls of pink and cream, wearable dessert. wearing free people sweater, DIY shorts, old navy boots (a super cheap isabel marant dicker knock off)

The light texture, puffy sleeves, and white color make this an ideal shirt...for a pirate. It is however awesome in it's pirateness. I'm loving Zara more and more with their streamline basics. It it was just chilly enough for me to get away with wearing this vintage fur stole that has become one of my staple winter pieces.
