Pin It Now!
In a death trap of a yellow bug actually made in the 1970s, we drove around cozumel mexico to find the most deserted of beaches and jungles! What we found was a bar (Bob Marly Bar to be specific) and the sought after deserted beaches! Wishing I was still there sipping on margaritas and munching on ceviche! Full review of Playa del Carmen to come.

the fuchsia lip
Pin It Now!
I've been obsessed with the DVF spring 2011 matte fuchsia lip since spotting it on Pinterest. After some googling I learned the secret to the punchy matte color...pigments. They also used a Chromagraphic Pencil, but it was unavailable at the Nordstrom I went to.

those furs
Pin It Now!
I'll admit I wear a lot of fur and I have a dog. I'm neither for nor against PETA. They can do their thing, doesn't bother me. I love my dog and if anyone tried to skin her to make...a glove?...I'd probably scalp them, still alive.
But what I have a problem with are hypocrites. People who say you look ridiculous as in "where did you get that polar bear" "you look like mafia" etc etc. Then they go and a few years later, when the trend has become main stream, I want that humongous fur coat! It's soooo amazing I must have it. Please kill me now. WTF.
I've never cared what people thought and have worn my furs regardless, but that hypocrisy is what really pisses me off. Seriously don't act like my fur is a costume idea and later declare it the best thing since sliced bread. And don't you know you can't wear fur like me, and don't you know you are YEARS too late, and don't you know you are just a lemming following in my wake...I hope you drown...not really...hehehe..really.
Rant over! Until next time.

keeping it casual
Pin It Now!
Keeping it casual on the way to brunch with soft slouchy jeans, truly vintage tee (belonged to my dad), a button down, and my every day leather jacket. I though this mackage jacket I got years ago was still looking new until I checked out the back. The elbows and under the arms have that worn in look and and the leather there is super soft! I do almost wear it every day because it seems to be the warmest of my leather collection.

spring!
Pin It Now!
These pictures are actually from LAST spring, but I just never got around to posting. I was soooo excited with this furry jacket purchase from zara...only to discover it's not warm at all and only suited for mild temperatures.

it's been awhile
Pin It Now!
Between baby showers and bachelorette parties I've forgotten to blog. Real life gets in the way of the online life sometimes...
Anyway here's an ensemble featuring one of my favorite vintage coats found on ebay when I had been searching for a Penny Lane inspired coat.
