lwd

I have an unhealthy obsession with white, white dogs, white clothes, white walls, white bathrooms. I want everything to be white, poses a huge problem when getting dressed for a wedding. I've never seen the draw of the little black dress aka lbd. They are all the same, essentially. That's not to say an lbd couldn't be dressed up with some kick ass accessories, but still it's an lbd, screams boring to me. On the flip side I've always had a thing for little white dress, the lwd. And no I don't limit wearing them to summer, I only limit myself to wearing them during non wedding associated functions. But yes I could prance around in an lwd all year round, these pictures happen to have been taken in the fall...well after labor day! I especially love the back view. wearing stylestalker dress, rebecca minkoff bag, aldos boots.

blast from the past

While in the middle of winter I decided it was time to order a massive amount of coats from zara. I think it was a wise choice, I absolutely love the leather sleeves on this coat and the old man checkers. Not to mention the double breastedness...can you say gramps meets alexander wang? I look forward to wearing it again when it's not 90 degrees out.

Hard to believe just a little over a month ago I was still wearing fur! This collar is so soft and sumptuous and happens to be the perfect length for this zara coat! And can you believe the shoes, definitely inspired by Theyskens Theory.

rag & bone newbury boots....another knock off

I got an email from ShopNastyGal and scanned through some of their new items...low and behold there it was, a pretty much exact replica of the Rag & Bone Newbury boot so coveted for the past year or so. The shoe pictured on the right is the Rag & Bone boot and the version produced by Jeffrey Campbell named the Big City Boot. I wish it came in a less shiny leather or a taupe suede...Jeffrey Campbell if you are reading this please make a distressed black version just like the one I pictured! If you are going to knock something off you might as well go all the way!!
On thing I do give JC credit for though is making comfortable shoes, then I guess for the price they should be comfortable!
